Saltstraumen Brygge Hotel

I recently had a delightful stay at a charming hotel nestled along a picturesque pier next to the tranquil waters of a fjord. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. They even surprised me with a room upgrade, offering breathtaking views of the water right from my window. The rooms themselves were clean and well-equipped, providing a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. I also had the pleasure of dining at the hotel's restaurant, where I indulged in delicious fish and meat dishes while enjoying the scenic vista. Additionally, the hotel offers modern boats for fishing excursions, adding an extra dose of adventure to my stay.

This hotel offers great value for money with its affordable prices and attention to detail. The location is unbeatable, right next to the fjord, allowing easy access to the water for fishing or boating. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The rooms are equipped with everything you need, including beautiful views. The breakfast provided is delicious and satisfying.

One small area for improvement would be to add some small side tables and bedlights beside the beds for added convenience.

Great fishing experience and amazing wildlife sightings made for a memorable vacation. Good amenities were provided, including rental equipment for fishing and boating. the location was ideal, with several tourist sites and cafes nearby.

The staff could have been more attentive, especially during check-in. There was no key in the envelope at midnight when we arrived, despite having called ahead.

The bathroom and kitchen were both comfortable and well-equipped, and there was even a nice balcony. Very neat place and the staff was friendly and helpful. there was a grocery store within walking distance, very convenient.

The view from our room was absolutely stunning, and we were able to see the fjord perfectly. , the kitchenware they provided was really cool and well taken care of. Lastly, the setting in which the hotel was located was really peaceful.

Trying to check into the hotel during New Years was a bit of a disaster. Nobody was at the reception desk when we arrived, so we had to wait about an hour before someone showed up to let us in.

The hotel's location right next to the beautiful fjord is one of its best features. You can walk down the pier and even have an otter visit you in your boat! the rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and all the necessary facilities. the bathroom is also great, with plenty of hot water. the breakfast is decent, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.

The hotel lacks some basic amenities, such as hand soap and shampoo, which can be inconvenient for budget travelers.
